All-Purpose Bondri

All-Purpose Bondri is a concentrated silicone water repellent. Use on any type of granite and marble. Add water to activate concentrate. Solution must be kept in glass container.
The advantage of AP Bondri is that its solvent is water, therefore the stone need not be thoroughly dry, although excessive moisture content would retard penetration. Also, we ship the silicone "concentrate" and the purchaser adds the water, thus saving greatly on parcel post charges. AP wets polish better than the naptha types but still must be rubbed into polish for even penetration. After drying, a white residue (scum) may appear, which is easily washed off with water and a little soap or detergent. ALTHOUGH AP IS NOT AS POTENT IN SILICONE AS THE NAPTHA TYPES IT IS ENTIRELY SATISFACTORY IF APPLIED LIBERALLY. AP functions on marble as well as granite. The other Bondris do not. Since AP must be kept in glass, a gallon or five gallon glass bottle will be needed for mixing the concentrate with water. |
